A sensible conversation must be had when massacres like this occur, When LESS people were butchered in Bosnia the US was demanding action be taken to try and prevent massacres, so it makes sense that everyone pauses, thinks and explores how if anything the US can TRY and prevent more massacres. It would be wrong and immoral to simply ignore this heartbreaking scenario repeating.

Any Legal gun owner in the U.S. can make private sales of guns.....been that way for several hundred years.......

Buying ammo is Legal, even if you could only buy so much at one time you could also reload which has basically zero control anywhere in the U.S. on buying components to do so.....

I personally cannot see anything actually change because (A) its a futile debate (B) I know you will disagree but human life sadly does appear to have little value when compared against citizens rights ( UK media is aleady saying " Its America the deaths of 20 chuildren in a school massacre, the deaths of dozens in a nightclub didnt change anything so dont expect anything to change over this massacre) (C) I cannot see any common ground or anything that could be changed. Paddock's roommate, Marilou Danley, as "person of interest." Detectives later made contact with her, and "do not believe she is involved with the shooting on the strip." She is overseas.

The brother of the Las Vegas shooter said that he was a normal guy who must have 'snapped' before carrying out the worst mass shooting in American history.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Eric Paddock said that 'something happened' to make his brother Stephen kill at least 50 people and injure 200.

Eric said that there was 'absolutely no indication he could do something like this' and said that Stephen had no political or religious affiliation.

He said: 'He was just a guy. Something happened, he snapped or something'.

Speaking from his home in Orlando, Florida, Eric said: 'We know absolutely nothing, this is just, we are dumbfounded.

The man suspected of opening fire at concertgoers attending a country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night was a local resident with no prior criminal convictions in the state of Nevada.

Stephen Paddock, 64, lived just 90 minutes outside Las Vegas in the city of Mesquite, where he purchased a home in a retirement community for just over $369,000 in 2015 according to public records.

He lived there with 62-year-old Marilou Danley according to records, the same woman police announced they were seeking to question on Sunday night as they began their investigation into the horrific terror attack.

Paddock had both hunting and fishing licenses according to public records, as well as his pilot's license, but no criminal record in the state of Nevada.

He may have worked as an internal auditor at Lockheed Martin for some time, and managed an apartment building complex in Mesquite, Texas.
