Looking for help in finding a long range listening device.

I have been looking for a long range listening device with parabolic reflector. I see these Yea Tek and other named all over the net with prices from 25 to 300. I don't know if there is a difference but they all look the same. The Sound shark is very expensive at around 500 usd. Any help appreciated.
