Fourteen people, including a young girl, were shot near downtown Toronto, police in Canada’s biggest city said on Sunday, with one person killed and the gunman also dead.

This is interesting...

Toronto deployed about 200 police officers from July 20 in response to the recent spate in shootings, which city officials have blamed on gang violence.

But, this shooting does NOT appear to be gang-related. (given the location and the target)

Canadian officials have identified the suspect in Sunday's deadly shooting in Toronto as Faisal Hussain, 29.

Hmm.....

family says

They said their son suffered from serious mental health challenges and had struggled with untreatable psychosis and depression most of his life.

So again, I'm guessing the now oft repeated pattern of mental health issues, likely taking certain anti-depressants, and going nutballs. (or, that as a base, and then programming him like a shill).

Interesting change up doing it across the border though. Enough to keep it topical, but not as blatant as another in the US. Crafty...or just a random act, and interesting timing of this year.
