Your gogles do not have to be air tight, the virus does not enter through your eyes, only through your nose and mouth. The goggles are to keep you from touching your eyes and from having to wash them.

On some news article they specifically said it can go through the eyes. I hope you are right! There is too much conflicting information. Sigh. Thanks Rellgar!

my best move was moving to Sharp County Arkansas,it's a back woods little place little to no industry I rarely see anyone who is not of the white race,and there are not many outsiders riding thru here,there is nothing to draw people here,,this area should survive the Corona with very little damage to those who call this place home

A cough carries droplets and those are infectious in the air. Be safe anyways and trust me on this, wear goggles or at least glasses. Any barrier is better than nothing.
