For those of you who still think the flu is worse than COVID-19...
The CDC considered the period October 1, 2019 through April 4, 2020 to be the 2019-2020 "Flu Season" when influenza was at it's peak.
Between October 1, 2019 and April 4, 2020, an average of 230 people died in the US per day of the flu. 1,610 per week.
Between April 4, 2020 and April 11, 2020, an average of 1,600 people died in the US per day of COVID-19. As many as the flu killed in a week.
In the last 24 hours, 2,050 people died in the US of COVID-19.
