Recent ratings of drugs being used to fight Wuhan Virus by Physicians healing people! Not left wing Hacks who clearly hate more than they care about Americans being healed!

“An international poll of more than 6,000 doctors released Thursday found that the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine was the most highly rated treatment for the novel coronavirus.
Yes, but Brent wants us to wait six months for the double blind tests with control groups (who will die) to be peer reviewed and published in some medical journal before talking about it. And then we have to have another study to make sure the results can be duplicated (another six months).

I know all about the process because I've been through it a number of times - successfully. 100% of my papers were published because I dotted all the i's and crossed all the t's and answered all the reviewers' objections satisfactorily. The guy I was working with had about a 10% publication rate on his papers.

Trump hints at cutting WHO funding over coronavirus handling, says they ‘really blew it’

President Trump suggested Tuesday that he might consider cutting funding for the World Health Organization over its handling of the coronavirus crisis and alleged role in helping China downplay the severity of the outbreak.

“The W.H.O. really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China centric. We will be giving that a good look. Fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on. Why did they give us such a faulty recommendation?”

New York City stockpiled ventilators for a pandemic, only to later auction them off: report

In 2006, then-New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's administration began purchasing ventilators to allow the city to be prepared for a pandemic like the current coronavirus crisis -- only for the city to later auction them off, according to a report.

ProPublica reported Monday that the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene issued a report in 2006 on the city's preparedness for pandemic influenza -- similar to the 1918 Spanish Flu or the 2019 novel coronavirus -- that projected the city would need thousands of extra ventilators in order to properly treat all of its residents who got sick. The plan was then put into action, with the city initially buying 500 ventilators before it ran out of money to buy more and to maintain the ones it had already stockpiled, according to ProPublica.

Those ventilators were then auctioned off some time before 2016 because the city could not afford to maintain them in working order, partially because the model of ventilator the city had purchased was no longer in production after 2009, the report said.

CNN, and the other cohorts of orange man bad, went nuts when the Trump Admin sent ventilators to CA, claiming some of them did not work. Well, yeah, we have stockpiles but we cannot maintain thousands of them while stored. You got them, get them in working order and STFU. I didn't vote for Trump, but I will in 2020 over anyone the new left puts up. 30 yrs of voting dem is over. I cannot believe how insane the new left has become. Trump is still POTUS. Hate him all you want, but try to work with him to help him make better decisions. Constantly hating on someone 24 hours a day for three years is not only ignorant, but deplorable.

Brent, you know damned well there is no time for conventional drug trials. People are dying horrible deaths TODAY by the thousands. This is NOT some experimental new drug we a talking about. Hydroxychloroquine was approved by the FDA in 1955. It has been on the market in the US for 65 years. They know what the side effects are.
Like I said, this drug may or may not be helpful with the virus, I honestly hope it is. I’m just saying that trump, a businessman and now politician, with no medical training whatsoever, should not be going against his own team of medical advisors and promote a drug that may have serious side effects. If he wants to advise the FDA to loosen up regulations and do more trials I think that’s great, but he does not have the knowledge required to be dispensing medical advice.

I stated that I thought loosening regulation on trials is a good idea during this mess.

Fauci is a big pharma vaccine advocate, research it. Dr. Fauci is not against it, he is just not 100% for it, research it. Your mixing up a lot of bias with the truth on this matter. Your track record on political opinions is opposite your advice on prepping. Your prepping advice is about 95% correct. If I was you I would stay out of political discussions or people may stop listening to your great advise on prepping. Let go of the hate! But Brent, I said nothing about the government approval process, that comes after the formal trials and peer review process, which take time and don't involve the government. There is absolutely nothing Trump can do to speed that up other than allow the trials to take place, and the FDA has already approved the off-label use of hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID-19, which is all they can do until the results of the trials are peer reviewed and published. The government then uses the results of those trials, after they are peer reviewed and published, in making decisions about the specific-use approval process. By then it will be way too late.

Do Americans have to pay for treatment for Covid or use insurance? I know the tests are now free I think but is treatment.?
Insurance companies will waive co-pays, and the bill for uninsured patients will be picked up by the government. So theoretically there should be no out-of-pocket costs for the vast majority of American COVID-19 patients.

I just call it as I see it. Trump is a loud mouth braggart and is a vindictive as a bully on a school yard. He has been through more staff in three years than the last ten presidents together. His lack of a moral compass is obvious to anyone that has eyes. I know this is a conservative forum, and I have many conservative values, but I don’t see trump being worth following. Sorry. I don’t have issues with the Republican Party, but I don’t see him as worthy of respect. I’m still in shock how so many here that I respect and have high reguard for as intelligent people yet they still believe in this guy.

Parmalat tastes almost just like regular milk. They have been at it for a while. Sometimes it has a bit of powdered milk taste but not too bad. The other brands I can't even drink in coffee.
I’ve never tried parmalot or any of the other brands you can store non refrigerated. I would though, just never really noticed it in the grocery before. I’m intrigued by the usefulness of it. Usually when I go to the grocery I know what I want and am in and out pretty quickly. And that was before I was worried about a disease....

Adjusted coronavirus model predicts fewer people in US will need hospitals, but 82,000 will still die by August
(CNN)An influential model tracking the coronavirus pandemic in the United States now predicts that fewer people will die and fewer hospital beds will be needed compared to its estimates from last week.

As of Monday, the model predicted the virus will kill 81,766 people in the United States over the next four months, with just under 141,000 hospital beds being needed. That's about 12,000 fewer deaths -- and 121,000 fewer hospital beds -- than the model estimated on Thursday.

A "massive infusion of new data" led to the adjustments, according to the model's maker, Dr. Christopher Murray, who serves as director of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
