Not sure what you are referring to? The Bible was written in Hebrew with a small part in Aramaic. It is in English print everywhere because of Christians.
You're totally missing that target Mon Cher :) If you ever hear gods voice in the old Hollywood movies its usually a English accent, and when you get Devils like the one from Buffy or Legend the dude is inevitably English. :)

Oh, you mean "British." The word "English" is too ambiguous in contexts like that, especially for Americans.

And BTW, we speak less bastardized English than you do, LOL. :p
American English WAS British English in the 18th century. We WERE British. Americans have preserved more of the British English of that period than the British have.

Here is your own BBC explaining:

The "english" bible was written by the King of England, who was killed by his brother who took over, finishing the "King James Version" which we all read. It was drawn together from all translations across Europe and to Russia and finished in 1572...many things were not correctly translated...the Lords Prayer says: " lead us not into temptation". The original said, "lead us, so that we do not fall into temptation". The english says. " ask and it shall be given to you" the original says: "ask and it will be created for you" (meaning if you ask for something which does not even exist...) Lots of power lost in the translations...Gary
