My ancestors owned slaves, I didn't. Part of the old plantation is still in the family in Tennessee. Only now it produces oil and timber. If any black ever traveled to their African "homeland" and saw firsthand how the people lived there they'd be thanking the White man for the opportunity to come here. None of us owe them anything, espicilly money or an apology. And I certainly don't have any sympathy for any of them.
I'm proud of my family's history. I've passed that pride on to my kids and now on to the grandkids.
Life is what one makes of it. Success or failure has nothing to do with race. And I think it's past time to quit accepting excuses for losers based on their skin color.

I am not about to apologise to anyone for being white, I am proud of my heritage and my nation.
my family never had anything to do with slavery, we were farmers and fisherman going back centuries, most people were those 2 occupations in this part of the country.
