What are some great brands you would recommend for storage food?

I don’t think brand has much to do with it. I visited a canning factory once years ago. They put several different labels on the same product. I do try to stock basic foods mostly though and stay away from pre made things like ravioli and stuff. Canned chicken can go into just about anything and will last a long time past expiration. Dry goods like rice and beans store good long term as well.

One may be a little better than another or the same as others, but all are infanitly better than none at all.

If you’re going to store dry goods, keep in mind that you need to keep the sealed with an oxygen absorber big enough for the container. That will help any bug eggs that may hatch in control.

Oh - and don’t buy rice from China. It may be plastic rice.
