Sherwood Forest is down to about 1,000 acres left. In the year 1086, it was around 19,000 acres. Pretty sad...Are there any trees left to burn in the UK?
What a shame. Too many people and not enough land.Sherwood Forest is down to about 1,000 acres left. In the year 1086, it was around 19,000 acres. Pretty sad...
It's an general european problem. And the governments don't do anything against it, they still "import" useless people as "specialists" who only need space, financial ressources, burden the social system, ensure stricter and stricter laws and less freedom for the local people. And higher taxes of course because some idiots have to pay the whole crap. What a shame. Too many people and not enough land.
By comparison, total forest area in the US has increased by about 18 million acres between 1990 and 2020. We're planting far more trees than are being harvested.
