Hey all. I’m fairly new to the preparedness world. I always felt that prepping was the wise thing to do, but always procrastinated on it or life would happen. Thus, life happened in 2020 which caught me with my pants down. My wife and I have decided never again; so we began our journey of preparedness late 2021 when we got caught up a bit on finances/income. We throttled back on supplies and pantry items to focus on a financial plan that involved selling the house and moving east to become mortgage free and debt free. We’re now settled in at our new home in Nova Scotia. The property is 4 acres on water, which from what I’ve learned is a good foundation for self sustainability.
Pretty excited to kick this preparedness journey into high gear and hopefully learn a ton from this forum; and maybe even meet local preppers.
