Ever seen the great fence in Australia? 4000 miles long I think.Keeps the rabbits on one side from eating EVERYTHING on the other side. The rabbits feed, breed, multiply by the millions and eat the available food till it is GONE. Then they all starve except the few hundred which will start the cycle all over again. Been going on for years now. GP

Dosent sound much different than people.... So, do Australians get to eat a lot of rabbit?

Rabbits are known to eat babies, I really don't see them starving in fact, I think rabbits will resort to cannibalism if it came down to it.

I’ve been known to eat a rabbit. Still have a couple in the freezer right now. Not really crazy about it but bet that improves with the hungrier you get.

Brent, a solution that does not solve the problem is just conjecture and/ or a complication. The one child scenario is never going to work, so it is just an added complication. Starvation will cure the problem. Stop all the government hand outs and let them breed themselves into starvation.

Every species will do the necessary to survive. Rabbits, crocodiles, ravens, pigs, sharks and many fish species have been observed so....

We've had a number of rabbits. Most rabbits won't touch touch meat no matter how hungry they are. To them, it doesn't even register as a potential food. But there are some that will. We had one rabbit that had a taste for fried venison.

He was definitely an old cowboy with only one leg and came back as a rabbit so he could run again and for more of his favorite snack. LOL

Rabbits, camels, cats, cactus plants, toads...Australia has caused its own downfall with the import of several things which do not even belong there!All kind of films on all kind of feral animals and plants there. Explosions of multiplying species. and we see again, that mankind does not understand what effects he has on nature, until it is too late...Damn. GP
