Study: Ibuprofen Among Drugs Found Safe To Use In Treatment Of Coronavirus
LONDON — Ibuprofen is fine for coronavirus patients to take, according to a new study just released by King’s College London. Researchers say there is no conclusive evidence one way or the other regarding the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for COVID-19 patients.

The study’s authors also concluded that various types of other drugs, such as TNF blockers (Humira, Enbrel) and JAK inhibitors (Olumiant, Xeljanz, Rinvoq), are safe for coronavirus patients.

To draw these conclusions, scientists analyzed 89 previous studies that had been conducted on other coronavirus strains (SARS, MERS) and any available research on COVID-19 as well. They looked specifically to see if any steroids, pain medications, or other drugs have had an adverse reaction on earlier coronavirus patients.

It’s incredibly important for doctors to have a full spectrum of knowledge on how medications interact with COVID-19. For example, if a cancer patient were be infected with the coronavirus, it’s very likely that person would already be on a regiment of either immunosuppressive or immunostimulant drugs. In such a case, it would be imperative for his or her doctor to know which medications to stop.

I hate when I’m right about things, Oh wait no I don’t. Lol. I’ve been telling everyone that ibuprofen is safe and it BS that it is no good for Corona.

I just put up with the headache and not take anything.
Hi Maverick, the willow pain reliever has no blood thinning effect. There are no side effects at all and it will not go against your prescriptions. The Aleve and Paracetemol will never find its way back into my med cabinet. I had been using Ibuprufen for 2 years after my back injury. A random checkup showed my kidneys were going into a chronic insufficiency problem from it. Took the pain till the OP re-located a vertebrae from a 14mm slipped disk position and removed the 3 broken tips of the same L4 vertebrae. After that, only willow treatment or Ibuflam. My kidneys are OK again. Many people suffer headaches and migranes from kidney problems. Others have a problem with the tiny holes in the small intestinal wall and micro-bits of fecalien get into the bloodstream and are "poisoning" us from the inside. It is a big problem with those who eat brown breads and other foods containing glutens and other parts of wheat and grain hulls.

Another problem with the intestines are the effects of using artificial sweeteners to avoid sugar. The effects of ASPARTAM and ACESULFAM is drastic. After reaching a temperature of 28.5 degrees C. Aspartam disentegrates into its separate chemical parts and is capable of causing Alzheimer, Parkensons and 47 other nerve related problems in the human brain caused from the disconnection of nerve synapses and degeneration of nerve cells. On top of that, after the tongue senses a "sweet" taste, it begins to tell the body that sugar is present and produces insulin. If tho, we have taken an artificial sweetener, the insulin has no job to do and must be re-absorbed by the body and creates another problem with the overproduction of insulin. If the body does this too often, it will learn to NOT produce any insulin and we slide into a self-created diabetical condition....

Studies have shown that the Aspartam sweetener is responsible for Braindamage, Headaches, Multiple Sklerose type symptoms, Epilepsy, parkinsons, Alzheimers, skin changes, blindness, brain tumors, depression, damage of the short-time memory and general loss of health.
Also known as Nutra-sweet, Equal, spoonfull, Canderel, Sanecta or just E951. These artificial sweeteners have been studied for many long-time studies and are responsible for up to 90 different health problems or symptoms.
All the cokes, joghurts, candies, chewing gums and such with Aspartam or acesulfam and such are being boycotted in many schools by the children who have read up on them. Google the good and the bad reports for yourselves and decide on your own path what to believe...GP

Some years ago I spent many years drinking Diet Coke. Well, I ended up with having 2 TIAs. After that, I cold turkey gave up all diet anything and all soft drinks. Haven’t had a problem since! The stuff will kill you. No doubt about it. Had tried Pyure here recently in my coffee, but after reading this I’m wondering if it is just as bad??

Sugar and honey will catch more flies Peachie....stick to the naturals. The name is unimportant, it is all just killing you and destroying your health...GP

Thank you for the heads up! I will throw the stuff away now and never touch another artificial sweetener. Should have known there aren’t any healthy ones! I don’t mind dying when the Lord calls, but I don’t want to live after a horrible stroke. Couldn’t bear being a burden.

I just don't understand how people can tolerate those artificial sweeteners. I have tried a couple in each case, following the first sip, my thoughts are "not bad" but within seconds, that horrible aftertaste hits and I can't take no more. I discussed this with a co-worker who drink gallons of diet-coke and asked how he handles the aftertaste. He said "you get used to it"!!! Why would anyone want to do that. I now drink either unsweetened tea or water. If I drink (or eat) anything sweet, only real sugar. I avoid any artificial sweeteners.
