If that keeps up, they will be full in just a few days.

Don't know if stuff like this is in the news

Also in the call, my Daughter is transporting non virus patients by air to the field hospital she is assigned to, to make room in the brick and mortar hospitals, families are upset with the hospital and harassing staff, threatening staff and demanding to know the location. My Daughter not allow to bring the patients out to the flight deck anymore so she will remain at the helicopter. Also, the field hospitals is mainly a uniformed hospitals which means Military equipment mostly Military Doctors using Military helicopters, they have the State Patrol and MPs watching over things, no family members allowed. The hospitals make the choice of patients being moved and giving the family 24 hour notice of the move. The Red Cross will keep the family informed of the progress.

The Daughter has practice mass casualty evacuations during the great washington shakeout getting ready for a major quake and she said, this is nothing like the test, practically everything she learned was thrown in the wind she said, I laughed and said welcome to combat sweetheart, she said she is not a Soldier, I said oh yes you are.

Common Anti-Parasite Drug May Kill Coronavirus in Under 48 Hours, Say Researchers...

Researchers in Australia report that Ivermectin, an FDA-approved drug commonly used to treat parasites, appears to be effective in treating the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus (COVID-19). The drug is widely available and can be “repurposed” for this application, doctors said.

The ScienceDirect journal, Antiviral Research, published an article by a group of Australian researchers from Monash University in Melbourne reporting that Ivermectin appears to be effective at inhibiting the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

We report here that Ivermectin, an FDA-approved anti-parasitic previously shown to have broad-spectrum antiviral activity in vitro, is an inhibitor of the causative virus (SARS-CoV-2),” the researchers write. “Ivermectin, therefore, warrants further investigation for possible benefits in humans.”

I've given this to animals. This is hard for me to wrap my head around!

=Thats absolutely fascinating, chances are many medical facilities may face the need to imprive security as the numbers rise and fearful relatives get stressed out.

Surgeon general: 'This is going to be the hardest and the saddest week of most Americans' lives'
U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams warned Sunday amid the coronavirus pandemic that the week ahead would be the “hardest and the saddest” of “most Americans’ lives.”

“This is going to be the hardest and the saddest week of most Americans’ lives,” Adams said on “Fox News Sunday."

“This is going to be our Pearl Harbor moment, our 9/11 moment, only it’s not going to be localized; it’s going to be happening all over the country,” Adams said.

He added, however, that there "is a light at the end of the tunnel if everyone does their part for the next 30 days."

“There is hope, but we’ve also got to all do our part,” he said.

I wonder why California is so low? Must be poor recording or classifications.
My guess? A combination of factors. LA is much more spread out than NYC. San Fran probably has a lot of untested cases among the indigent population and they will probably never be counted. etc.

LA governor said that they will run out of ventilator by Thurs, so now DPS has set up a road block to screen vehicles from LA enters g TX. If they do not have their GA-12 form, they will need to fill one out on the spot. . .and the sent on their way. TX is not turning them around. We are about to see a huge spike of cases now.

COVID-19 Seven day statistics for the USA excluding NY as of 5 Apr 2020
Since NYC has such a high rate of infections and deaths, those numbers are skewing the statistics for the US as a whole.
So I am going to start compiling stats that exclude NY to see how the country as a whole is doing.

Are there a lot of people trying to flee LA to TX? I don't live close to the border so I haven't seen any evidence of this.

From my understanding yes. Sorry but I can only go by what I hear since I only go out to work the overnight shift. I wondered why the check points didn't get in place after Abbott said anyone driving over from LA needed to go into a 14 day quarantine. I don't trust the honor system at all. Where my mom lives there was a lady who just got released from the hospital testing positive to go home and self quarantine . .then she took a walk down the main drag in town and collapsed. How many people did she expose on that walk, along with police and paramedic workers? Its crazy what people do even knowing they have the virus!

Makes you wonder if the virus affects their brain as well.
