My daughter worked for a major Motel chain for a while. The Sheets Were Always changed but the bedspread was never changed. They were pressured to clean the room as quick as possible because of Labor so basically as long as it looked clean it was good enough they didn't always wipe everything down and then did a quick vacuum to top it off.

YES!! that is what I am talking about. When I stay at a motel, I always strip the bed and pile the sheets on the floor, put all dirty towels in a pile, and put away all trash in the bags and tie up the bags. I do clean the bathtub and wipe down the counter top. When the cleaning crew comes in, all they have to do is put on new sheets, put trash bags away, and hopefully reclean the bathroom. I try to make sure everything on the nightstands and desk area are as they were. I feel bad for those ladies have to rush and I know some people leave the rooms a complete mess.

When I lived and worked overseas I learned not to look too closely at my food. Same goes for hotel rooms. I think many people just worry too much.
Most definitely worry to much. When I was in the Army. I remember being so tired and eating my MRE and having flies land on it, whatever keep eating.

Being so tired after training that I would climb out of my Bradley and curl up on the roof/rack and fall asleep in the dirt.

Be so busy in the field and not be able to clean myself for two weeks straight.

Nah, I used to be, but I am feeling much better now :)
Just kidding... I don't think I am. I am a clean and organized individual, but people with OCD usual can't function through their day to day activities. I have no problem getting through my day, but I do like things to be neat and tidy.
I was really clean for the majority of my life. As a surgical assistant a good portion of the job was to be aware of how clean everything was. I admit though, with the weaker my wife gets, the lower my standards get. I’m a lot more inclined to just let it go that I haven’t mopped in a week.....

It's wet. I'm wading thru water up to my ankles and I have a small hole in my left boot. . . but critters have been fed and garden picked. It's too wet to get any back to the cows with the tractor right now. Yes they have pasture but they like their hay too. I curved their appetite by pulling up 4 rows of corn stalks that were already harvested. I needed to do anyway but I really wanted to do it when it was not so wet. Thru them in a wheelbarrow and waded on back to the big cows. Thank goodness my milk girls still had hay in theirs. Need to can up some chopped tomatoes and el chico sauce along with the last of the corn. Been working on grandbaby quilt this morning during the hardest of rains but now that I picked in the garden, that's next on the list. I have a splitting headache and aspirin is not working. . . Dealing with too much teen drama but yet life goes on.

I have loads of green tomatoes on the vines but still haven’t seen a ripe one. Should be within a week though. Am picking blueberries about every five days now. Can’t believe how loaded they are this year. All the extra rain did them a world of good. Most of the apple trees are heavy with fruit this year too. I have several different varieties and each year it’s a crap shoot which ones produce well, but most are good this year. The figs are loaded too. I’m not really sure how to tell when a fig is ripe, but there’s figs all over the 4trees this year. I am about to till the greenhouse up and am considering what to replant in it. My outside garden was a bust this year. I let the weeds just overtake it after planting. Just too many things going on here.

You can tell which fig is ripe when you notice its been eaten by a bird after you didnt pick it early that morning. Lol

Lol! Yeah, critters know when food is ready. I still have not eaten a ripe cherry yet. Birds will come in and clean the two trees just before they are ripe enough for me....

Yeah, the well drillers are here! I finally fired the first company after three missed start times and not a single phone call. The work ethic in Ga. really sucks. On the upside, it makes it easy for our electrical company to look really good! It’s amazing to me that people don’t even call or stay in touch. Now the only problem is I’m going to have to pay these guys!

The trusses are going up on the shop today. The excavator guy should be up next week to dig the foundation for the house. Earlier this week I picked up a 21 foot lenght of 6 inch schedule 40 pipe for the solar panel mount. Not sure how I'm going to mount the panels myself yet. Some of the parts I can mount on the pole while it's still on the trailer.
We have one sharp corner on our road that is hard to get around with a truck and trailer. The truss truck got stuck there and had to be pushed around with the backhoe. I cut several trees out and widened the corner by about 8×50 feet.
The cows were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but it looks like they'll be here tomorrow now.
Got the auto start connected between the generator, battery bank and the inverter. Just need to program the charge controller and inverter to make it all work.
We've had a lot of rain lately (by our standards anyway) and cool weather. The garden is looking good, but the hail storm we had a few weeks ago damaged all the plums and apples. Some of the grape plants that were beaten to the ground are coming back up and looking good.

Went on a wild edibles walk to test out my new skills at identifying plants. I'm mildly pleased with how much I have learnt in such a short time but if you don't hear from me again it probably means I've accidentally poisoned myself.
That's a wonderful skill to have. Just be very careful on the mushrooms ;).

Yeah Trump has the businesses doing so well they can afford to blow off some customers.

Don’t even get me started about how bad it gets during hunting season! Lol
Fishing too, and winter, or if it looks like rain. This is part of the reason we're going on 3 years without a house. My builder is now telling me that he may not have the house finished until next spring! If I was a few years younger, and had help, I'd build my own house.

I built this one by hand, and my sons too. But I just don’t have the energy I used to have. I think my sons was the last one I’ll build. It really is terrible trying to rely on others to get things done though. The damned well guy missed three times he was supposed to be here, with no phone call or anything. Each time I had to call him and he would give me another week or so to get started. I lucked out when the other well guy had an opening two days after I called him.
