Not a problem our community needs to worry about YET, BUT they are warning that the Pandemic and the massive economic and employment etc that by the end of 2020 there could be up to 100,million people facing starvation across the world. The main aspect we may need to look at IN TIME is they believe tens of millions of Africans and South American may decide to become refugees and head north to europe and the US.

My concerns are that if one of the after effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic is that many nations could end up reacxting to the hardships and turn SOCIALIST, because most Socialist Politicians believe we should have open borders and let the migrants in enmasse.

Trouble is Jontte as you well know that the loony left feel a great sense of debt to their fellow men, but they intend to use you're money to pay it.

I am all for helping out others, to a point. I don’t think making the world into a welfare state is the answer
 
The US is THE major food exporting country in the world, with more exports than the next two combined (Germany & UK). China is #4.

I bet y'all in the UK didn't know you were #3 in the world. :) That was surprising to me.

What happens when we all stop exporting food because we only have enough for domestic use?

Yep. Most politicians these days see the power in socialism and the very wealthy see it too. All you have to do is look at Venezuela to see that the politicians and wealthy have had zero problems. They are still eating and partying like before. It’s just the people who are suffering so badly.

YES. Hodgon even developed a shotgun powder just for people like me. It s called "TiteWad". As for the "Millions of Guns" in VZ, would you care to provide your reference source? Please to don't count the guns provided to the gangs by the government.

Now how many are legal (owned by average citizens) and how many belong to the gangs. The Maduro government has provided guns to the gangs in return for help controlling the people. The Colectivos are not your local Neighborhood Watch group. They are the organized gangs, that operate freely with the support and protection of the government and the police.

Since we don’t live there we have to take other people’s word for things. That Prepper from Venezuela Jose Martinez said it didn’t matter if you still had a weapon, there wasn’t any ammo to be had. And of course the government, that promised protection, hired the gangs to keep people under control.

I agree and disagree. Yes the gangs do consist of many poor people but disagree that the poor people are the gangs. The vast majority of the poor people are victims caught between the gangs and the government. I will concede there maybe some guns in the hands of honest citizens but as you pointed out there is no ammo. To my way of thinking, that is the same as gun disarmament. Firearms without ammo are just heavy metal objects to be thrown at varmints. The VZ people voted in a Socialist government, surrendered their rights for safety and security and now have neither. Just one reason I am so obsessed about firearms and my freedoms. I don't plan on surrendering either.

Personally, I wish more people were as aware and alarmed at government attempting to disarm us...or take access to ammo. They have been working on that in Cali.

The Cali ammo law was just made invalid by the courts and the state request for a stay was turned down. Freedom to purchase ammo and have it shipped to your front door, is legal again. I already have a ammo shipment headed to my son in California. Some freedoms has returned to California.
