I was at Harbor Freight the other day, and they had metal jerry cans (for gas, water, etc.), so may fit the bill for you.

Arcticdude was looking for jerry cans that's not the modern civilian/military cans especially the chinese ones, the pre 1980 cans were the best and those are the one's he was looking for. The 1979 and earlier bring a premium price now without spigot that's also not in the best of shape, the newer cans aren't even close to the older one's.
