Here are photos of the solar power system I designed for my friends mountain cabin. The 5000 watt inverter powers a small frig. celing fan, tv and a few lights. This is a stand alone system and it cost about as much as running power to the cabin.

I've been beating the hydrogen fuel drum for thirty years. One thing I have pointed out is that ANYONE can make hydrogen fuel. To prove that point, I had my son make hydrogen for a middle school science project.
Not just anyone can make gasoline.
Biodiesel is a little easier to make, but still has problems.
Fuel grade ethanol is actually illegal to make without a license.
My son made hydrogen before he was in high school.
