Excerpt: "A man with a history of threatening politicians and law enforcement has been arrested by federal agents in New York after offering money to anyone who would kill an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.

On July 2, 33-year-old Brandon Ziobrowski of Cambridge, Mass., tweeted that he would give “$500 to anyone who kills an ice [sic] agent.”

“Seriously who else can pledge get in on this let’s make it work,” Ziobrowski added".

Actually a bit different.

In this case (not that one), the guy openly solicited murder, offering to pay for it. It's much easier to make that case in court, and this guy is going down for it.

As for threatening to blow up the White House, etc., while the Secret Service would look into it, they also can more easily dismiss it, though yeah, I bet if they prosecuted it more, it wouldn't be so flippant.

Yep, because it's far easier to prosecute and prove. It's a solid case.
