OK, so there's no such thing as the zombie apocalypse but I have a firm belief, born from study of history, economics and politics, that our days in the West are numbered. We barely survived the last economic collapse and the underling problems haven't been dealt with. We're still in unsustainable debt, with a decadent society (and I mean decadent in a historical, not religious or moral sense) and vast social problems that are only going to get worse. We can not hope to maintain our way of life indefinitely, which is why I feel it prudent to be prepared for the worse.

I can't get over how friendly and helpful everyone is. Thank you to everyone. It's nice not to feel like I'm doing this alone :)
