well..mom is getting to come home..and the storm(s) has let up.at least for now..so im out of here for a while...

I'm sitting by the window watching the fog come down yet again. I looked it up, since Christmas we have had just 5 days of sunshine. If I didn't have such a sunny disposition I could get a bit down about it.:)

here it is mid February and we did not get even a flurry here this year,,,,,,,,,,,when I moved here I wanted to be in the mountain's with some snow ,since 2004 this is the first time with no snow

I REALLY DON'T MIND,,,,THE TICKS WILL BE BAD THIS YEAR IS THE ONLY DRAW BACK

it's 44F,feels like 33F with a wind speed of 10mph..all of that, after a nice warm day, where i got most of the mowing done.no rain in the forecast.but yet.it wouldn't surprise me if we did, with the way things look outside right now..

It's 31f here. Snowed a little last night, but not going to last - 54f today.

Jacked up weather. It was 72 a couple days ago....

yeah,it is messed up weather.it was nice n warm with clear skies yesterday.in which i got most of my mowing done.then a cool front with wind to go with it.had moved in by 4 or 5 pm.

Looks like winter is here again too, just in time for spring

The only gripe I have is that the cherry trees are in full bloom already.

Not surprised. The area peach and strawberry farmers are sweating now. Forecast is calling for 23F Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Got up to 43 degs yesterday. The warmest day since early November. The snow is rapidly melting and the road is beginning to break up and turning to mud and is underwater in places. Still have 2-4 feet of snow on the ground. Just a few miles down the road some of the South facing slopes have bare ground showing. The deer and elk are slowly starting to work their way back up the mountain.

That group of Daffodils are now in bloom and we've had a couple of dry days. I even got washing on the line and it was almost dry when I brough it in!:D
It's going to be a balmy 57 today although we did have a frost last night..

My plumbs and peaches are in full bloom. Damn. We have three below freezing nights forecast. At least the apples, grapes and blueberries aren't blooming yet. I had to go out and remove the sprinkler pump and drain the lines that I had just hooked back up a couple days ago. I'm pretty confident this will be our last freeze now at least.
