I certainly wouldn't head South in an apocalypse... Too many people too many cities and too many ways in, besides, I'll take my chances on the very very remote possibility of an volcano taking me out here in the Cascades than taking my chances of all them nuclear reactors safely shutting down in the South during an apocalyptic event ;)
