Honestly I am trying to just tempt, both my MIL and Hunny with Shrimp Etoufee. Granny ate about half and picked out all the shrimp. Hunny ate a bowl. . . he has not been able to control his bladder since he got his catheter out a week after surgery. He has gotten into a depression that I wish he would snap out of. . . His solution that started this last Thursday was just drink less. . . honestly it started before I just didn't notice, but I heard it in his voice starting Thurs last week. Glad he has a follow up appointment tomorrow in the big city. that I will be going to. I am worried there will be another surgery bot if that means adding in the cows, pigs and chickens into my world again than fine. Not like I am getting help with anything else and that is just another couple hours added into what I am already doing.

We drove up to visit our kids and grand kids yesterday. For dinner tonight we made fried rice with chicken, egg, bell peppers, shrimp and bacon.
These trips are always too short but the drive is long, 8 hours each way. We bought the G kids bicycles today and we're pretty well wore out now. We'll be leaving early in the morning.

I can easily beat Popeyes, there the best fast food red beans, but not even close to mine. You would be driving here to visit ;)
Red beans and rice from Popeyes is one of the few fast food items that I can say I really love. I tried a few of the internet copies of restaurant recipes and nothing came close.
