I'm looking to expand my bug out/get homepreps and think it would be wise to have a slingshot on me for my journey. I have to make a 27 hour journey so I'm sure I can benefit from some added long distance protection and also a tool for hunting. Anyone here use a slingshot? what do you recommend for style? I'm used to a slinky dinky but feel the need to invest in a winky dinky.

any recommended weapons for a UK resident?

I shot a high powered sling shot called a wrist rocket back in the 70's when I was growing up . My Son brougjt home a similar one and I shot a bulls eye first shot just like I did when I was shooting one everyday . If its or prepps then have extra bands for it . The steel ammo or lead buck shot works best but carefully selected rocks work ok .

Thank u. It's becoming increasingly harder to get wrist rockets by me. I will look into it.

remember my days as akid, when we used to roam building sites for wire they used for blowing the ground,we made small sling shots from thick wire, cut that det cord/wire into smaller
strips, bent it into a u-shape,plenty of "ammo" :) and no damage to our eyes,
can't do that any more as all is fenced. so kids of today don't even know that type of "toys".

the wrist rocket,,,the original was very good very powerful and durable as all get out.the folding ones are not worth a crap,,if I were going to go slingshot I would hunt down one of the old ones

I got a folding wrist rocket that has been shoot thousands of times and it works just fine.....I like to shoot muzzleloader balls when I find them cheap...I also use it to try and get ducks and geese up off the water.....and feral cats......keep a extra set of bands and a bag of marbles in my go bag just in case....
