So my phone just voice activated and texted my new gf everything I was saying to a friend.

We were talking about cooking pork tenderloin over an open fire, lol, so not a big deal but still.

It's never done that before, and I have no reason to think I pressed anything, it was in my normal pocket.

Need to figure out how to make that never happen again!

I wasn't like that. My husband had more freedom to come and go as he pleases. Go to concerts and spend the night at a friend's. No problem.

But, he abused it. What an idiot both of us are. Too bad I'm so old. I could go get me some rich man that was getting ready to die and keep all of his money. Just kidding. It would be too much trouble to date. I don't have it in me.

A woman that knows very little about phone settings, came to me.saying her keeps telling her.that she has messages. So i got into the settings.and finally found the correct settings.in which i turned off for her.now she's a happy camper.

Are you hanging out with my mother? It sounds just like her.

Got a sister on law who can't get her messages. so now no one leaves her any. She can however read a text. My phone has many capabilities but I don't learn them because I would not use them and don't want to. I have a sister that photos, sends, makes movies, crazy. she's always on the damn thing.

I hung on to mine as long as I could. But I had to also have an Android phone because I was doing Android development. Yes you read that right...a genuine Luddite Android developer, that's me, LOL. I was also a genuine Luddite IT Director before I retired. (Migrate to Windows 8??? OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!)

It was my wife who finally got me to ditch the flip phone by buying me a top of the line Droid Turbo 2. My son, who is a Java developer for a defense contractor, held out even longer than I did.

I just buy a cheap Samsun Galaxy android.

It does everything the expensive ones do just not as good or fast.
I still miss my flip phone. I really hate these damn glass things. What idiot came up with that anyhow? Putting glass as a keyboard. I can't even have my keys in the same pocket.

I have a pretty cheap phone. My days of carrying a $800 phone are over. Now, I don't like to pay more than $80 for one. I just don't need it. I do get a case for it, but still...they always end up cracked and scratched at some point. I'm hell on my phones.
