This is not the black plague. This is not a nation wide six month power outage. This is not a civil war, or a nuclear war. For most of us, this is just a big pain in the ###. I feel that for the vast majority of the U.S. life will carry on with very little change six months from now. People in the bottom 25% of the economic pyramid will incur a lot of credit card debt. People who had loved ones die will mourn. People that panic and sell all the stocks out of their 401k in this dip, will regret it when they retire. The up side is people will finally attempt to be at least a little prepared for bad scenarios. And the low intellects will try to sell all that hoarded toilet paper at half price.
