Poison not the way to go. A lot of the meat can be processed for human consumption thus given to the less unfortunate families here in this country. We also have like 20 or 30 Alligator farms in the US were the meat can be donated to etc... we already donate fresh road kill like deer to the prisons. Got to be better ways than the use of poisons!

only way id use poison.is if i were to trap and poison them at the same time..then get rid of them by burying them,or by burning them..id rather shoot them...

Maybe they could rig up some M-44's for the hogs with explosive shells (rather than cyanide). I don't like the wide spread use of poison for animal control. Better solution would be to remove all restrictions on hunting and trapping of the hogs. And/or start a bounty system.

Dunno about your American wild hogs but European wild boar is one of the most delicious meats you can have, we have stalls in town centres and fairs etc selling roast wild boar.
