I've had an interest in tomahawks, but I've settled for a cheap hatchet instead.

I've had my cheap, Wal-mart Coleman stainless hatchet for about 15 years already, and it's done everything I've needed during hiking trips, hurricanes, and gardening.

I did buy a canvas hatchet sheath for about $3.00 as a substitute for the cheap, clear vinyl cover that it came with.

I've occasionally used metal polish on it and gently sharpened it from time to time.

It was probably the best $8.00 that I ever spent.

This is the exact model that I have, but I downloaded the image from ebay as I'm computer-challenged when it comes to using my phone camera.
