Most of us are not panicking we got our NBC gear decades ago, some folks needed extra filter cartridges and gloves over here but most folks i know are very well prepped.

The whole point of being prepared is so that you DON'T HAVE TO panic in the SHTF. Most longtime preppers aren't the panicky type, quite the opposite. Yeah, sure there are a lot of Johnny Come Lately types jumping on board right now out of panic, but those aren't real preppers IMO. If this wakes them out of their stupor and they get serious about being prepared as a lifestyle, then we welcome them with open arms. If they go back to sleep when Ebola becomes old news, then they're not really on board.

Prepping is a deliberate, calculated endeavor.
