nah,I'm qurrently visiting the flu-land,what a joy to feel this week and snotty
but so far I've managed to dodge that bullet with noro-virus...
Congratulations on dodging norovirus. I evidently dodged the wrong way the other day and took a hit to the face....
I've had this before, but NOTHING like the stomach pain I had Friday night... nothing close. It has now moved south, shall we say, but at last my temperature dropped.

We've had heavy snow and freezing rain the last couple of days. The wife slipped on the ice yesterday and fell down the stairs. She's not doing well. I think she broke some ribs, at least. I'll take her to the doctor tomorrow.

it's been raining here,since we early morning hours..and it's still raining..mom has a doc appt. this afternoon..and she wants go to lowes afterwards.so i hope it's let up by then..im hoping to find something good to spend money on..

Just ordered a 200 litre Freezer that stays frozen for 56 hours if their is a power outage

Thanks. We have a clinic in town about 20 miles away (1 hour this time of year). They're closed on weekends. Shes with the doctor now. If she needs to go to the hospital it's another 50 miles further.

Finally going to get the gardens going, and some fruit trees planted. Tractor Supply has some I want for only $24 (fruit trees). Apple, pear, etc. Since it will be a while before I ever see fruit from them...anxious to get started on it!
I'm gonna get some help on the garden project, so can't wait to take advantage of that.

Glad your getting around to it! I try to warn everyone about fruit trees. It's at least three to five years before you start getting good results from them. We just had the power company put in underground power on the property here. They had to kill about ten of my trees for the trencher to lay the line. I'm going to wait till fall before planting some replacements though. The winter gives the newly transplanted time to adjust better I think. I grew different citrus trees down there with a lot of success.

I did get the last of the potatoes in the ground today in the outside garden. I'll keep my fingers crossed for them. If it is going to freeze again I guess I will just bury them under an inch of soil.
I've been building a tall carport to park equipment under. Tomorrow I have a gravel truck coming to put down a full load of rock under it. Gravel is 450.00 a load now. Damn...... I could almost do concrete for that!

I'm with ya. I need about 10 yards of concrete at $105 a yard. When I built the garage (38x36 and should been 100x50) I spent $950 on gravel to go under the slab.
