I still have wine left over from the wedding last October. I used to drink champagne. I really liked it. :) then a few years ago, I just decided I didn't want to drink any more.

Yeah, we drink like once a month at home. Or for a holiday. Maybe some wine if we have a dinner with friends. We're both big on sweet, not dry ones.

Had a friend in the biz, and he often gave us free (expensive) wines. But, my favorite is still $5 a bottle Verde wine. (Seriously, try it if you like sweet ones. Everyone who has, has absolutely loved it).

A branch of the family even makes wine (with our surname). We get a bottle for each year we're married. I've totally filled my wine rack about twice over now, so really need to get a different solution for it.

Will probably become a good trade item post SHTF.

What else is in this "town"? (besides the Tractor Supply)... That is tiny!
Tractor Supply is about 3 hours south of here and in another state. In our town we have 2 cafes, a pizza place, 2 bars, 2 gas stations, grocery store, feed store and a sawmill. Graduating class this year was 14 kids. We don't have any fast food restaurants or "Dollar" stores here either. We also have little to no crime, no traffic lights in the entire county and zero refugees have been "relsettled" here.

Love it

Lots of people vacation at the lake the week of the 4th so we have some fireworks every night for about a week. My Lab and Golden were so scared, but they are both gone now. My two now just go to sleep. Mom's little rat dog stays in her lap trembling.
I don’t think my dog knew anything. She just slept right through the whole thing.

Hey Paul and Silent Earth, just wondering if you guys are heading out to London Pride today. I see lots of colorful rainbow pictures on Twitter.

Talk about scary. It would be a giant target for some of the new residents. I would be terrified to participate if I were gay.

I like our town...Plant City. It's still small (by normal city standards), with everything basically being either in the very small "downtown", or along (2) main streets.

But, we've got at least we've got a movie theater (whose prices are from like 5 years ago), a WalMart, a Tractor Supply, and at least one of nearly every fast food chain, and a couple of grocery stores. At a nearby exit, we have a nice little cluster of places (Applebee's, Outback, Starbucks, Carrabas). We have a nice little cluster of more retail spots too, like Michael's, Ross,
