California passed a bill so that Trump can't be on ballot in 2020. (Must show tax returns) people are cheering for government takeover. It amazes me how shortsighted the masses can be.

Actually I think the CA law is a good idea. Of course, what are the odds Trump can win in looney-land?
But the good thing is that it'll open things up. Texas should pass a law that anybody collecting welfare in the past 2 years can't vote in any election. Food stamps, housing, Medicaid, SSI, any of those. It would ensure no democrat wins any office down to dogcatcher for the next 25 years.

If that stands, then why can't conservative states follow suit and not put Democrats on the ballot? Do they know what a big friggin' can of worms they are opening???
