Need some assistance here from preppers into short wave radio.
I don't even know if that's the correct term for civilian communications via personal radio.
I'm soliciting opinions on the value of lack of value of having short wave communications available
at home.
Expensive? Doe one need an antenna tower? License? I plea ignorance.
Ignorance means lack of knowledge not intelligence.
I could google info but I prefer 1st hand info from persons into the hobby who are
also preppers.
I know a lot of people use personal radios for communications and truckers likely
lead the pack in that area.
"at's a big 10-4 good buddy" or some such lingo.

There is a huge section in here about radio comms. Takes a bit of time but worth reading.
