The Left has had a very bad week. The SCOTUS rulings, Mad Max, The Red Hen and now Justice Kennedy retiring.

The Liberals heads are going to be duct taped together.

Also, the fact that a high ranking Dem Representative lost to a 28 year old self proclaimed Anti Semite Socialist.

She is already under fire. It seems the Left keeps shooting themselves in the feet.

I would never watch, but MSNBC is passing out Xanax. Poor Rachel Maddow.

Looked on Twitter this morning and the Left is absolutely unhinged about the SCOTUS.

This is going to get very ugly.

It's hard to believe that abortion is their #1 concern. With everything going on in the world........

I have just one thought on this.

The libs are insane talking about how in an election year they should not nominate a SCOTUS. Well that was a presidential election, not an off-year election.

AND, the real opinion to consider is Kennedy's, the man retiring voluntarily and opening this seat. Kennedy is retiring in an off-year election, so he must think it is perfectly OK to nominate a replacement. And he knows Trump will nominate a conservative to replace him and he's apparently OK with that.

So why does anyone else's opinion matter? Liberals or Conservatives. Kennedy is saying "replace me now", our laws say we should replace him now, so why not!

If the dems don’t take the House or the Senate this mid term election all the screaming and threats doesn’t really matter and makes them look more foolish then what they already are.

If we keep both houses of Congress and Trump gets re-elected he can possibly fill one more seat on the Supreme Court in his second term not counting the Appellets Courts. The good thing, Trump is using the Federalist List on both the Appellet and Supreme when it comes to filling seats. With socialist becoming more and more popular within the democratic party and states, these 4 or 8 years of Trumps term are the most pivotal of our time regarding the Constitution especially if he continues to use the Federalist list and as a warning that list is going to drive the left to a far more dangerous group than what we have seen already... remember the weather underground of the late 60s through the 70s [emoji6]

Kennedy isn't the only one that's ancient. Even without re-election, Trump may get to appoint at least one more, if not two, just in the next couple of years!

I agree with you.

I tend to have a very wide conservative streak in me, but I am pro choice.

Everyone seems to think that pro life is a very old church value, but it isn't.

This conflict began, roughly, in the 1880s.

Before that, midwives would advertise the services (including abortions, but euphemistically described) right on the church bulletin board.

A woman's right to choice is, actually, a traditional family value that was viewed--quite correctly--as a matter to be handled privately between a woman and her midwife.
