DP, of course. It was Sunday morning. All CNN listeners are hung over and sleeping. By doing it now they can say how they are 'fair' in their coverage. But do it when nobody is listening and it still counts.

In Austin? He's lucky he was only fired. Surprised he was assaulted. In fact I've been hearing about lots of shootings in Austin as their police become more handicapped.

Jontte has a great picture. I just feel a massive movement happening. Be careful, liberals will be exploding nationwide.

Don't even get me started on Austin TX. My daughter briefly lived in Austin TX and those people are certifiable!

The news report just said a "NBC station in Austin." But when I looked up the station, it was in Austin, Minnesota.

Normally I don't watch SNL, but by chance as I'm reading online it came on the TV. They jumped into the Kavanaugh topic, and it was brutal. I think they nailed it, republicans are partying and democrats are "getting used to losing". I'm sure they were trying to insult conservatives, but I'm pumped and looked right through their normally shallow baloney.

Oh, that SNL cold open was PRICELESS. I laughed my ### off. They've actually done a halfway decent job at taking jabs at both sides during this. Which is, surprising frankly. But funny as hell.

The rest of the show (Sat) blew, but watch the cold open.

TF - Do you honestly think RBG is going to make it to 2020? I hope Trump nominates a female candidate when its time. That way, it takes this play off the field.
 
I actually get firing a reporter for wearing a MAGA hat on air. Though far from it, a news reporter is SUPPOSED to appear impartial, and doing that destroys that premise. So THAT I understand. Firing one due to public support on one's PERSONAL page though, is a completely different story.

I about had a heart attack over the weekend when CNN had "good" headlines about Trump. In my best Sanford & Son imitation, I stumbled into the kitchen telling the wife to call an ambulance, this is the big one!

At first, she got a bit scared, then I held up my phone showing CNN's homepage. First, she was pissed, then she laughed. (She didn't vote Trump, but couldn't vote for Hillary either. She left it blank and just voted on all the local and state stuff.)

G, it's only 2 years. Technically 14 months until the start of 2020, and 25 months until Trump is re-elected. Now don't get me wrong, I'm just fine if she keels over any day between now & then. But I think she can hold out for 25 months to give Trump the double pleasure of winning the election, watching her heart fail over his re-election, and then the winning of replacing her with Ted Cruz.

BTW, I did more research on her nomination. I was thinking of the wrong justice earlier (Sandra Day OConnor). RBG was nominated by Clinton. She replaced Justice White. Look that guy up, he was incredible. He played in the NFL for 3 years and was the #1 rusher for 2 of those years. He was in WW2. He was runner-up for the Heisman in '37. What an impressive guy. AND, he WROTE the dissenting opinion in Roe vs Wade. He was a pro-life guy... and he was replaced by RBG???? Trump can reference Justice White when he nominates Cruz to replace her.

For me, the whole Roe v Wade bit is a dead political issue. It's nearly impossible to overturn a SCOTUS decision anyhow, and to be honest, I think most of the public is fine with it as is. I don't know how it keeps coming up. (though I do get the religious objections, so guess that's really the jist of it.)

As for RBG, she's 85. Every DAY, let alone MONTH longer, is a blessing for her. I mean, she was a TEENAGER when the Roswell crash happened, for godsakes! She was a kid during the Great Depression! I don't wish death on anyone, but lets face it, she's more than on borrowed time....

Yep. I actually researched that topic VERY heavily, in my heavier conspiracy board days. I went into it expecting to prove Mogul. (I'm actually pretty much a skeptic, but I've been an amateur UFOlogist for many years). I was VERY surprised where the evidence led...and it still blows my mind.

For me, the evidence simply shows we recovered an alien craft, and covered it up well (at the time). Not only that, but we completely restructured our entire defense agencies in response to it, to centralize all intel, nearly overnight. It's amazing, but there's actually a paper trail from the first partial recovery in '42, until about the 60's, when it was all pushed deep into the shadows.

It's amazing stuff really. I did a huge series of threads where I laid out the evidence, not for just Roswell, but also for the organization tasked with the coverup. It's all still out there, (though some pics links may now be broken). Not sure if I can link to another forum, so if interested, can always message me.

Gaz, I used to be a big believer in alien UFOs but I'm not so sure any more.

I read something that made a lot of sense.

WHAT IF the truth was that it was some secret experimental technology? What better way to keep people from knowing the truth than to have a diversion like making people believe it was alien technology and there was a big Government cover up? And then go laugh their asses off at all the idiots falling for it.
