I think the norm is for Justices to attend the SOU of the Presidents that nominated them. Most Supreme Court Justices don't like going to the SOU.
Roberts and Kagan always go. Kavanaugh and Gorsich were nominated by Trump. Those four were the only ones that attended.

So sad. RBG just had a few weeks of more cancer in her pancreas. Colon cancer in '99. Pancreatic cancer in '09. Lung cancer in Dec, now this (again). 5 year survival rates for pancreatic cancer are at best 14%. She's out 10 years and had it again and had lung cancer in the middle? Tick tock. No love lost here on this one.

Whether she last that long or not, I think at some point once the lefties pick a biggest nut-job candidate, they will use RBG as a big reason to vote for them. They will go ape-nuts if she drops (officially) dead & Mitch goes ahead with the new nominee. They will argue that she's going to drop dead and voters can't let Trump elect another SC judge, since he 'stole' one from Obama already. They won't acknowledge that Roberts is turning into a leftie (we really need a new chief judge) but instead that the court will be conservative-biased for decades if he wins again.

Heck, if it's true, I'd like to see Roberts impeached (or whatever you do to SCJ's, possibly imprisoned) and have Trump replace him as well! Put a real conservative on the SC rather than limp-wristed chump.
