There have been several documentaries on discovery recently that show how bad the water issue is getting. With all the billions we waste worldwide you would think they would start making desalinators that run on solar or wave action. One image that has stayed with me was a villager getting a bucket of muddy water out of the bottom of a hole to drink. Kind of makes me ashamed at all the crap we waste money on. I probably live way more practical than most, but could still do better.

too many people using finite resources again. lack of rain water is not an issue in the mild south west of England!!

i watched a documentary that came out in 2012 on tv about the bottled water ppl go through last night.there's enough plastic bottles to go to the moon and back 65 times.plus they pointed how the human race is using up all the fresh water and aquifers..we've seen 2 droughts where i live since i moved here in 2007.the 2nd one was the worst.and folks with beef and milk cows started selling off life stock.hay was brought in from the upper states that was getting rain and all..prices in feed store sky rocked big time.

sometimes one feel a little ashamed by the way one uses water..ok,we have it..plenty of it,but still..it was a wake-up call for me when my,then 7 year old son,told me daddy,you need to save water 'cause I'm gonna be here long after you...I'm so thankful that my tap-water is excellent,clean and fresh.
haven't bought bottled water for 10 years or so..
perhaps water shouldn't be used to make golf courses green..towns built in the desert mustn't have green grass..

yeah..kids say the darnedest things,and at just the right moment..lol ..yeah,why on earth folks will go off and build towns/cities in the desert...then pipe water from miles away,is beyond me..

yup,sometimes I really wonder how we came this far....our bodies are quite fragile..immune system could be better..what have we done with our big brains??? invented fantastic things to kill others...ok,some of them are sexy,admit that..but still...

I honestly think that if we took the money we spend on killing/defense and spent it on helping people all over the world, then we wouldnt need to defend ourselves as everyone would love us! Unfortunately in the real world there are alot of assholes out there. I do think we antagonize alot of our enemies into being our enemies though.

yup,it seems that whatever you do,someone will always hate you..you help them,it's not enough..you should feed them indefinately.. it's a strange world we live in my friends...
