I've fired 1/4 million+ rds, half of it 22lr

and the great majority of that thru conversion units, mostly on 1911's, but a helluva lot thru AR15 units. I've cast, loaded and fired over 100k rds of .45 ACP.. I've owned over 150 guns (not counting the ones bought to resell, of course. I made my living as a gunsmith for 3 years, mostly upgrading the old 1911's to combat match pieces, back in the late 70's, early 80's. I cast 10's of thousands more bullets for sale, loaded as many .45 rds for sale. I've taken 100's of animals with belt and /or pocket handguns, .22 short, lr, magnum, 380, 9mm, 9x21, .38 super, .38 special, 357, .45, 44 mag, .45 L Colt 30 Herret, too, albeit not in a repeater. . I've shot in over 150 combat rifle and pistol matches, almost always placing in the top 10%, including IPSC national and world shoots. I"ve known many top guys for decades. Cooper, Wilson, Ayoob, Arganbright, Sparks, Nelson, Cirillo, Chapman, Hackathorn, Harries, Taylor, Siefried, Miller, Farnum, Askins, Dalton, Fowler. I used to spend $300 a month on long distance calls to them, for quite a few years. I've thought of very little but guns and survival for about 50 years now. I've read nearly all the books and mag articles during that time, and have been on all the related forums for 20 years. So yes, I know a shyte-ton of things about these subjects.

yes you are right,I can not completely disprove what you say,,,,,just like my saying after 20 years as a sniper an over 50 plus confirmed kills the longest of which was 1345 yards,,,,,,you have no proof that what I say is valid or BS,,,,depending upon the scope of operation a sniper is involved in we are sworn to secrecy so open discussion is out of the question

There are "certain" members here whom are quite "extreme" in their views. Since I dont align with a certain way of thinking I found myself constantly debating nonsense. I dont have that kind of time.

Overall this is a good forum that consists mostly of good people. I will stop in from time to time. I just won't be active like I was before.

Even though I don't 'always' agree with you, I hope you'll stick around. Throw a spear or a hand-grenade once in a while to keep everyone on their toes. Just don't let yourself get caught up in endless debates, and realize there's lots of different opinions out there.
