some others and myself are planning a camping trip/meet n greet...and chances are,it'll be next month.and it'll be from nov 2nd to nov 5th for me.that is,if those plans work out when it comes them or not.and yes,all of this is still in the planning stages.my mom dont have any doctor appt's at that time.so i need to call my sister,to see if she can stay here.or if my mom can stay there while im not here.other then that.the planing should go good..the link below is the campground in which i'll be staying at..

we have a smaller vehicle now..so im limited to what i can take.but yet, taking extra gear is a good idea.and the only way i see me doing that..is if i can get my hands onto a luggage carrier that'll work with the luggage rack between now and the camping trip..

all campsites with electric and water, are taken untill the 4th.and thats for the weekend of the 2nd to the 5th...but yet, there are sites with water.but no electric..now im wondering if i wanna go with that.especially seeing how, thats what i did on my last camping trip.and i need to get something for recharging items that needsit.cell phone and other items like that.im not worryed about.but yet,i do have 2 or 3 items that im better off useing a electric outlet.

i forgot about this post..the campout will be outside of tyler tx..and it's this weekend..so if there's anyone intersted.and can make it.just let me know it here or in a p.m.

I just bought a new tent and inflatable matteress. I have 6 days off work starting today and was planning to go camping on a great creek not far from my house. I just found out that we're having the last (hopefully) cold snap this week. Darn it. It's going to dip just below freezing, which is below my comfort zone. Yes I could survive it, but camping is a lot more fun when the weather is nice. The new area I planted for a second vegetable garden has a whole lot of nice young and tender shoots sprouting up right now, dammit. Oh well, when you plant early you have to know you're taking a risk. One thing about camping in the south, it gets hot and sticky fast, so there's a short window in spring and fall to be comfortable. I'll make it soon, just not this time.
