Stay right where I am at, I spent 35 years exploring and mapping caves here and a great deal of these caves isn't even registered similar to whats in the link below, some with ice some without, the cave in the link is roughly 14 miles way the crow flies. Plus I know every creek there is. No sir, I'm staying put ;)

I've already relocated to a large tract of land that I bought years ago. I'm sitting right in the middle of several thousand acres of woods and meadows. For me this is the perfect place; miles from the nearest neighbor, 20 miles from town (pop 800) and several hours from any city.

due to my location a lot of British preppers have said that I have bugged out already!I'm in what most people would call a remote location, if I could move I would relocate a mere 20-25 miles north east of my present location to a more isolated area.

Any one of the British Overseas Territories in the South Atlantic or maybe the Caribbean. Saint Helena or Tristan da Cunha for preference. Little chance of invasion, low crime rate, good weather (most of the time) plenty of fishing and perfect for gardening.

I would go to some place I have already been too...If money was no object it would most likely be Utah I loved it out there plus there is a lot of mountainous terrain where a defensive position would be easy to defend. Not only that, with the Salt Flats around heavy vehicles would have a hard time getting to you because they would bog up in the flats. Out of all the places I went to in the military this was (Utah) the only place I did not want to leave.

I have been to Europe and Central America no thanks.

I have a nuclear plant less than 50 miles away,I don't like that,if it was closer to 100 miles I would be a little less concerned,I want to build a house with a basement but may opt out to just the basement with a attached deep bunker, built right the basement home will hardly be visible from the road, and I know this area well,,,,if one made the choice to relocate,I don't think it would be that big a deal, with a nuclear hit after a month or so there will not be many people around anyways

Great place to be, underground in a nuclear blast or attack.

my mom and me,were riding some back roads one day..in which i noticed a section of land.that looked remote and hidden enough, where i'd probably buy it if i had the money.and there's very few people in that area.the only nuclear plant i'd have to worry about,if at all.is outside of houston.but yet,the down wind (area),is upstate from me.so there's very little worry there..

I love where I'm at, and have worked my butt off getting the property in shape. Leaving here would be hard, but since we're talking money not being an issue here..... I'd like to be out in the northern Midwest somewhere. I saw a picture of a creek running through a meadow, probably in Colorado, years ago. I still remember it vividly. Evergreens nearby, and the Rockies rising up in the not so far distance. Probably my idea of heaven. I would like to be more remote than I am here.

if money was not a problem,,,,I would relocate, about a 1/4 mile down the road,it is a better location for my build,,,,I know most every nook and cranny in this area,I am very comfortable here, this area it is isolated with just a few small towns close by,,,there will be no people flowing into or thru this area, the fewer people around the less worry about interlopers,,,,,

If money was no object where would I go, Hmmmmmm in peaceful times probably South Island New Zealand or Tierra del Fuego but if it was a post apoc bug out homestead I needed I would probably head for Kerguelen or St Helena.

I 0nly see one problem with those locations,,,,,if you are there when the SHTF you are never going to leave................
