Well spotted Mav, a tactical assault systems stick, no doubt as I write the UK government will be making sticks illegal unless they are made of Balsa wood, and of course our left Human rights lawyers will be lining up to sue anyone who infringes the rights of the zombies.

Without even watching it I expect it to be politically correct, diverse and inclusive insomuch as there will be a white dude, black dude, Asian dude, elderly dude, ex felon, a lesbian and a kid in their somewhere as the BBC make maximum effort not to offend and minority group.

NO you say!!!!! Just look at the remake of SURVIVORS, in a post apoc world where there is no law and order exactly how many fit, sexy young girls do you imagine would spot a vehicle full of men that she has never seen before and simply jump into the vehicle with them?? Y'see in BBC land there are no nasty guns in the hands of the good guys, only the bad guys have them, inter racial relationships flourish, gays and muslims get on fine, criminals can murder a prison guard, escape and still be the hero to the proletariat.

The remakes of Survivors and Day of the triffids were truly appalling, politically correct, badly acted and utterly politically correct, utter effing rubbish in fact.

yeah well it is "entertainment" at the end of the day, its not supposed to be factual or informative. I see Bear Grylls has got a new show next week where he takes so called "celebrities" in the forest in Costa Rica to survive "off the land" for 12 days eliminating one at the end of each episode.

liked the Day of the Triffids when they showed it here a "few years" ago.....the original of course ;)

The original and the best, just like Terry Nations Survivors the remake focuses so much on being politically correctness.

some remakes are good,as long as they keep the spirit of the original and forget the PC BS

Watched the first five minutes of the BBC new series “ I survived a Zombie apocalypse” then turned it off. The survivors have apparently survived 6 months in zombie land without any weapons, and the first two characters we meet think the most important job to do on gaining access to the shopping mall is to cover the windows with cardboard !!!!. The BBC wins the award for producing another load of politically correct bollocks.

you really expected something different? come on, it is the BBC!!!!!!!!!!

The spin off of The Walking Dead AMC is bringing out this Summer is suposed to be more PC . This is just what I have been told by some folks at work that keep up with media better than I do . From what I understand the spin off takes place in CA .

Ah so we can expect black, gay and lesbian, disabled one legged vegan environmentalist zombies

Even more so , PC was not the correct term more like .......... less violent, less action more careing about the walkers or they would'nt be allowed to call them walkers . I bet the group would cringe if one of its members pulled out a gun , then the one with the gun does'nt know how to use it and has a accident . All speculation I hav'nt looked it up yet probly not much actual info releaced about it .

Can you imagine the Walking dead being set in the UK. The best the survivors could do is give the Zombies a good talking to, but if we did attack the Zombies we would be prosecuted for Racism and Assault by the police for being Zombyists. We would have Zombie Rights Lawyers sueing for discrimination and the Labour party would be demanding equality and diversity laws to ensures Zombies were housed and schooled with normal people.

Instead of Rick being a Sheriff he would be a Social Worker, Daryl would be a pacifist, Carl would be on Prozac, Carol would be in a home and Michonne would be a pilates teacher.

The weapons with be Air Rifles and the knives used to put the Zombies down would be non locking folders with 2 inch blades.
