It should be the States making these decisions. Unfortunately I don't think there's many governors left that have a backbone to go against what the Feds and their pet experts recomend.

No governor wants to be the first to reopen in case there is a relapse. The others are waiting for someone to start then they will follow.

Not long, once things get back to normal. Growing gardens and raising live stock is a LOT of work. It will get old pretty fast at which time a majority of the "new comers" will drop out. That will also impact the new TCS employees. I fear their new jobs will be temporary.

Very good point Robin! The reason is because politics is WAY to involved in this pandemic. The Governors are too afraid of political backlash. It’s a shame. But one only has to see what’s happening with Hydroxychloroquine that the President mentioned vs several other medications that weren’t approved by long studies and are being tried out. Those meds are not getting bashed daily, even tho they have FAR LESS time in use. A NY physician said it succinctly, he said that these doctors arguing on tv about Hydroxychloroquine are not treating a single person with the coronavirus and they are politicizing it, whereas he is just doing what works for his patients.

You could be right. But the government, and their non-elected "experts" got away with shutting the country down over this China flu. Are they going to shut down every time there's a new flu? This could become the new standard; scare the people enough and they will accept anything.
I think some people will remember this crisis and will do what they can to prepare for the next shut down of the country.

Personally, I’m already feeling like I’ve been sold a bag of poo. The reason we shut down our economy was because the CDC and Dr Fauci said we would lose 2.2 million people. Now they have lowered that to 60k. While some countries who didn’t close down and ruin their economy have not lost that many folks %wise.

So the question is...Are the CDC and Dr Fauci that stupid or was there another reason for doing this?

Exactly what I was thinking. They make it pretty obvious by attacking any treatment that is cheap vs pushing their new antibodies and vaccines! We will have a Great Depression guys. With what has happened there is no way around it.

That's because, this would have killed millions if these actions did not occur. The reason we had to take such drastic actions is because the WHO and the CDC, NHS, etc.. deliberately was not prepared and was incompetent. They wanted to destroy economies and usher in global totalitarian rule in order to sell the world vaccines and force compliance.

Taiwan did not, and they nipped in the bud without having to shut down. 382 cases, mostly imported, and 6 deaths. They have already reopened schools.
Taiwan tried to warn the world. They were muzzled by the WHO.

It's going to take years and years to recover from this if ever, this stimulus package(s) isn't even a band-aid to the larger picture, we are going to see a major devaluation of the fiat currencies, the Feds are taking it's $3.9 trillion U.S. municipal bonds and purchasing fallen angle bonds that have lost their rating due to the virus. Everything is uncharted territory and it scares the hell out of me. The odds are against us, I know the US isn't alone, doesn't make it any easier.
