we had some potatoes that would of gone bad on us,if something wasn't done with them..so i washed sliced and fried them into potato chips..they're just a lil bit to crunchy and salty then what i like..but, they turned out better then i figure they would...

They do look awesome. I grew loads of red potatoes for the first time this spring, so am playing with different receipes. I slice or chunk some, coat in olive oil and spices like pepper, paprika, garlic and onion. Then bake in the oven. They are still crispy, and healthier than frying in regular oil. I love salt, but with the blood pressure starting to get a little high, I found substitutes.

they are damn good..the 1st pic is the slicer i used to slice them.in which i used the thinest setting..im now thinking of useing it for sliceing scalloped potatoes.the olive oil and spices like pepper, paprika, garlic and onion sounds good..

well.im giving patato chips another try.this is my 5th try.and it looks like im doing a all around better job of it this time..i've learned there is a thinner slice setting on that slicer.so im now getting more chips from each patato.and their frying up better as well..and to top it off..im useing sea salt in stead of regular table salt this time round..

My worst guilty pleasure, the wonderful potatoe chip! I like slightly thicker and crunchy ones. Can't imagine why I can't loose weight and have a slightly elevated cholestrol level :).

i prefer my chips a lil thicker then this batch..but they turn out a lil tough and crunchy when i go that route..im sure my cholestrol level is most n likely at least a lil high.but i aint worried about it..

I decided to look through my spice's, just to see if i had any thing different that i can use besides salt.the one's with a question mark.are the one's im not sure about using. .i had jalapeño powder once.don't know what became of it either.and i no.i didn't use it up..lol
