When you see how much those bloody Afrikaaners have got done :) then you will see proper effort and commitment that makes me look like a newbie
You are much to kind. I know of a small group about 5 households that banded together and started prepping, last i herd fram them they had about 10 tons of dry provision like rise, maze etc, that was about two years ago, these guys helped us o lot with our food preps and how to preserve items. They have a few spec ops operators in the group, we have done a bit of training with them to up our game.

Totally different objectives and reasons why folks prep involved, if you lot don't invest and cooperate you will get wiped out, European and Americans tend to be far more fragmented, different levels of commitment, motivation and threat analysis. There is nothing more motivating to unify and motivate people than the risk of a burning necklace over your head and an Assagi up your ###.

In all fairness Pieter one of my friends. A very big afrikaans bloke, huge arms abs everything. He has a voice like a pixie and his pet dog is a miniature doberman named puggle.

I try to live by this rule. "If i do one thing per day to improve the situation for my loved ones and me for tomorrow, then you have done enough." When you look back you might be amazed at what you have accomplished.

I live in the boondocks but here there are several dogs outside they will find you long before I do,once I know something is afoot the lights all come on the other dogs are released,,,in all likely hood the perp is lucky to get off the property at all,,if there are shots I may lose a dog but now I know where they are,,,and I am far worse than any dog

You shore got that right. I firmly believe that having our dogs is the only thing (mostly) that has kept us from robbed/broken into, when so many others around us have been. Just a couple of days ago, my closest neighbor up the road ('bout a mile) came home to find his door forced open. Fortunately, it woke up his dog which likely scared off the intruders & nothing got stolen. Bad guys generally don't like dogs...even small ones or friendly ones. I got aggravated a few times when my dogs got one (or more ) of my chickens, but in retrospect....it was a small price to pay.

Lol, mine like to shred cardboard in the yard. Better than chickens at least! Truly, they are part of the family and a great asset to security. My two outside dogs were pound rescues, and after a year or so have become more and more protective of the property.
