I am an ancient (65+) old coot, extreme Right-Wing, who believes the greatest danger to America is an economic collapse. When you have more people receiving "benefits" than are working and paying taxes to support all those benefits, bad things happen! Am currently looking for a BOL in the West, perhaps Oklahoma (Government land sales/auctions). Texas land prices are outrageous and I have scratched Texas off my list. I am retired Army (Venom pilot, CWO-W4), and have my retirement pension, and a few investments that have done rather well since President Trump's election. (Best thing that ever happened to our economy....now if we could just cut down on the welfarites pillaging our taxes!!) Anyway, howdy from the sunny South!

Love BBQ wild hog, and we have plenty of them!! Reckon Arkansas has their share, too, from what I hear!!

We are overrun with them down here...open season. We have hog hunts at least once a month, donate the extra meat to the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, and the Senior Centers in the area. Don't think we are making much of a dent in their population though...damn things breed like flies, but they sure are good eating! The young ones especially...150 lbs or so. We use dogs to hunt, takes a bit of the danger away because the dogs keep the hogs distracted while you get a shot at them.
I use the Ruger .44 on hogs and one shot will usually do the trick, but they are some tough critters, no doubt about that!!
