Hello guys

Just found you guys and wanted to drop in and introduce myself.

Names Troy, I've been interested in prepping ever since my daughter was born.

I started by buying a AR-10, spare parts, 3000 rnds, and "collecting" silver bullion.

I'm currently now in the food stuffs portion of my journey, and so far have only givin my wife a couple of grey hairs

The reason why I prep is I'm seeing signs of financial collapse, and the correlation of our society and the fall of Rome.

So yeah, that's about it

Welcome from N Ga. I think about prepping in basic, logical steps. Think of what’s the most important to your family, In order of priority. Water is first as you can’t go two days without it without being impaired. Get a couple good and simple water filters and find local sources that don’t require electricity. Food is second, both with having some stores on hand and ways to produce more, either gardening, raising animals, or foraging skills. The order of the rest of thing can be debatable but I think shelter and security should be next. I figure things like barter items, silver, etc. are good to have but focus on things that will keep your family alive first. Oh, don’t forget the importance of things like toilet paper too! Anyways, good luck to you and yours, and all of us.

G'day from Down Under. Lived for a few years in SC - mainly Columbia, and spent some time in Blenhiem (?). That was a while ago.
Go Tigers/Gamecocks - never could decide which one to follow, so follow both-terrible when they both play each other!
