While perusing the bios, I noticed that hardly anyone has a HAM license. Why? It seems that these would be major in a SHTF situation. I have 2 hand held Beafung, but don't have a license because in an emergency, the license will be worthless.
That'she my thinking too. There aren't even groups like years ago. I was told that they were dying with the oldI have assorted Two way radios ham, CB, PMR etc after TSHTF I dont give a damn about licences
I looked down into CBS. The range wasn't very good.I was thinking I wanted to put a cb radio in the jeep we got. Then I considered wether anyone even uses them anymore. I'm not sure I would have anyone to talk to! I also live in mountains, making it harder to use too. Oh well, it was a cool fleeting idea anyways.
Obviously you have more $$$ than I.: )That was my thinking that CB may only have some limited use thats why I got A President Grant 2 Export model CB, it not only covers the US Canada 27MHZ AM but also UK and EU 27 MHZ FM plus 26 to 30 MHZ ham bands all in one unit.
Obviously you have more $$$ than I.: )
I googled it and no one won it. Guess I need to go buy 2 tickets today. Yes, I know it's a total waste but I don't think I'll have to worry about a gambling addiction by throwing away three dollars this year! Actually I buy a ticket occasionally, maybe ten dollars a year at worst case. I guess one can dream!Don't know about lottery, but my mom plays every time she can.
