personally I think this climate change crap is BS but here are a couple things for you folks to look at


There are more than five million cubic miles of ice on Earth, and some scientists say it would take more than 5,000 years to melt it all. If we continue adding carbon to the atmosphere, we'll very likely create an ice-free planet, with an average temperature of perhaps 80 degrees Fahrenheit instead of the current 58

Just more scare tactics from the global warming fanatics. It's easy for these nutjobs to make these "predictions", because there's absolutely no way to prove it.
Some glaciers are growing and some have been melting since the last ice age.
If people want to live at sea level and then get flooded out, that's their problem. They need to accept that possibly.
 
If oceans rises 18" rivers like the Columbia river will slow it's flow inland and rise and one would get localized flooding 70 miles inland, it's not just coastal areas. I don't believe we are going to get to that situation at all though it would be nice to fish closer to home maybe even do some crabbing.
