just wondering here, with all the news on how bad the flu is this season, how many here take it seriously and get the shot? Personally I’ve gotten it each year for about ten years now. I drug my feet this year as I had a cough the last time I went to the Dr, so they didn’t want to give it then. I did go get one today finally. I can’t stress enough that I feel it is worth while.

I only got it bad once about 12 years ago and got the worst flu I have ever had. I have only had the flu about 10 times in my entire 50 years and they were all mild, except the one year I got the shot. I eat and drink healthy, use common sense. Take vitamin C, zinc and cordial silver during the flu season. I have not had the flu in 10 years.

My daughter got the flu shot for the first time a few weeks ago because her job required it. She has since had the worst flu that she's ever had. I thought the shot was supposed to prevent the flu. I haven't had the flu in many years. I'll pass on it.

They’re saying that this year’s vaccine is only about 10% effective. I’ve also hear that there are currently 2 strains this year and a third expected.

I haven't had the flu in maybe 10 or 12 years. I haven't even had a cold in several years. And I used to get colds all the time. I think it's the zinc I take.

So, no, I don't lose any sleep over fears of getting the flu. Maybe I should but...

I think if you aren’t around lots of people and use common sense then it’s not as big a deal. By common sense I mean frequent hand washing and not rubbing your eyes, nose or mouth when out and about. A grocery buggy handle is covered with loads of stuff.... if you work in retail or with the public I firmly believe the shot is worth it. They say even with this shot being from 10 to 30% effective it should help your body build enough antibodies to make a bout with the flu less severe. I’m not being paranoid here, just wise, and hedging my bets. As far as getting the flu from the shot, that’s not possible. This isn’t a live virus in the shot.

I don't have a problem with getting inoculations, the Mil cured me of that. I don't get flu shots, I don't really know why. I usually get sick once or twice a year, frequently chest colds. I think that maybe has to do with smoking, like my immune system is already fighting there.

My Wife is fanatically against it (She is just against Government interference in principal). We let the kids decide for themselves, they are old enough.

as far as little me;working here in the medical field;I take what I get,have no desire to work 8-10 hrs wearing a face mask,hate those things and even if the current flu shot is what it is,I strongly belive in all vaccinations,we have those that don't and they have once again made it sure that we have measles that they
contracted and brought back here.
9 cases out of ten,when we have some shit like this it's an our western cost line...

For health care professionals that are routinely exposed to sick people, I don't think there is any question but that vaccines are non-optional.

I have to get the flu shot because my job requires it. I don't really know how helpful it is. I do wash my hands a lot and I am careful in retail locations. I think those precautions and eating right are really the 2 best things you can do.

My arm is a little sore today, and I have a mild headache. Can’t be certain the headache is shot related, but likely is. Either way, we’ll worth it if it either helps prevent the flu or makes it a milder illness.

Getting the flu shot can be very bad if its the only thing someone does for flu prevention. It gives people a false security. It also weakens your immune system over time and increases your chances of getting a different strain of flu, also injects you with toxins. University and indepedant studies are proving this more and more every year. The AMA, CDC and big pharma is lying to everyone.

Im not concerned about the safety of the flu shots I just never take time to get one . I can get them free at work but never stop long enough .

• Aluminum Salts (accumilates in brain, bones and other cells, glands)
• Gelatin (pig-based collagen) problem for jews and muslims and those with pork allergies.
• Thimerosal (a type of mercury) better than what they did use.

had to check the contents of the flu shot they gave me and it had none of the above,so you must have something different over the pond.
and I don't belive in the "big pharma conspiracies" about the flu shots,prolly someone thinks they inject you with nano-bots and other
electronics to mind control you.
