There will be more lockdowns coming in the next 48 hours.
I have not seen it but my son told me about in S Africa the military had to go into the slums to get people to stay put. They have apparently been shooting some, beating with whips and way too aggressive. Disturbing to say the least.
Our greatest sympathies and condolonces to your wife and whole family Maverick. A family loss is a family loss. GPThe Wife got to put down her 18 year old Papillon but because she can't be with Thor
We have our own pet cemetery. We had a rabbit exercise pen and when that rabbit died we buried her in the corner of the pen. And we continued putting them to rest in that same area until it became a tradition. The fencing is long gone except for a couple of fence posts that the hedge engulfed. The Wife got to put down her 18 year old Papillon but because she can't be with Thor (her dog) for euthanasia due to the vets office closed to the public due to the coronavirus, my grand daughter going to meet the vet at the end of the driveway (she is going to veterinary school and worked with this vet) and get the pentobarbital and syringe, anyway the Wife is inconsolable.
This isn't really a legal way of doing it here but the vet will remain at the end of the driveway and receive the used syringe and dog (cremation) I do wonder how many folks are in similar situations regarding there pets during this coronavirus situation.

Sorry to hear that. I have had 3 dogs that I had to put down. 2 of them were 16 and one was 17 years old. I didn't even think about someone having to be away from their best friend like that.

My dogs are family members too. It’s never an easy thing to go thru. When it comes time I usually do it myself though. I’ve buried two dogs on the property here.
